Foundational Principles for
Stewardship:

1.     Stewardship is everything I do with my time, talent, and money after I say, “I believe.”

2.     Stewardship is a spiritual practice that grows out of faith that everything belongs to God but has been given to me to use.

3.     Stewardship seeks to guide our response to God from the standpoint of
our need to give, much in the same way that our health is affected by our need to eat well and exercise.

The Story of Our Money:

Below, you will find a link to our "narrative budget," which is...
  • a representation of the line item budget in simple, easy-to-read, descriptive terms.
  • an attempt to be a more exciting and enlivening picture of ministries and missional expressions of the congregation
  • an interpretation of our ministries, their meaning to our mission, or their impact on individual lives.
  • an attempt to help members of the congregation understand what the church is doing in its ministry; how its mission statement, values, and purposes become visible; and how sharing of ourselves support all of that.
  • the story of what God is up to in and through our congregation.
  • a connection between US as individuals and that story of what God is up to.
  • a connection with the biblical story of God's love that is still unfolding in and through our congregation so that we understand that the Bible isn't just an ancient, historical record, but a way of understanding God's love still present among us.
