A fundraising benefit will be held for Stephanie Leslie on July 13^th at Peakes at Pebble Creek from 4-8 pm.  There will be a spaghetti dinner, silent auction and raffle.  Adult tickets are $10, kids and seniors are $5 and kids under 2 are free.   Stephanie was in a car accident on May 24^th.  Her survival and recovery are nothing short of a miracle.  Stephanie along with her family and friends greatly appreciate all the thoughts and prayers.

Minnesota Twins 15^th Annual Lutheran Night will be Tuesday, August 19, 2008 @ 7:10 pm.  Reduced price tickets are available by calling 1-800-338-9467 and using the discount code “Lutheran Night Ticket Offer”. Lower level reserved tickets (reg. $30) are $21, upper level reserved (reg. $21) are $16, and upper level general admission (reg. $7) are $6. The order deadline to have the tickets mailed back to you is Aug 12^th.  All orders after that will be held at will call.  No discounts will be given on the day of the game.  A number of families from our church are planning to go. If you would like to order tickets with them (lower level reserved) and sit as a group, please put your name & phone number on the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the Narthex by July 20.

Defibulator/CPR training will be held  again on September 13^th at 9 am.  For those of you who missed last time, here is another chance.  A sign up sheet will be available on the bulletin board.

Our 21^st Annual Pig Roast will be September 7, 2008 – We have a sign up sheet on the bulletin board for areas in which we will need help.  The raffle tickets are ready to be sold and we will need everyone to help with this task.  Before and after worship each Sunday we will have a table set up for you to pick up your tickets to sell.  We also need help staffing this table every Sunday until Pig Roast.  Please do your part to help make this a successful event for our congregation and community.  There will be a $100 gas card to the person who sells the most tickets!

Judy Peterson is looking for empty pill containers to put flowers in.  Please get them to her if you have any.
